Leveraging its leading-edge patented technology of PV dual-axis linkage tracking, Tonking Group has designed, built, and operated many smart demo PV power stations. The dual-axis linkage tracking system is highly efficient, uniquely competitive, and best meets customer requirements in terms of maximizing the profit of a PV power plant.
1. Project Owner Model
As the investment maker and party A of a project, Tonking Group takes the liability for legality, development, financing, acceptance, operation, and maintenance.
2. EPC Model
EPC party (general contractor): EPC is short for engineer, procurement, and construct. This business model is categorized into the following types:
2.1 System Integrator
The Tonking Group designs the power plant; builds the plant; purchases, installs, and pilot runs equipment; and takes responsibility for the project quality, safety, project period, and cost based on the contract with the power plant owner.
2.2 Operator
As an outsourced operation and management party, Tonking Group operates the power plant for the owner and charges a management service fee.
2.3 Solution Provider
Leveraging its leading-edge patented PV dual-axis linkage tracking system, Tonking Group can provide all-round energy supply solutions to customers, including technical consultancy services and trainings on design and installation for various players in the PV industry chain.
3. BT Model
The Build and Transfer (BT) model is a combination of the project owner and EPC models. In this model, Tonking Group is the EPC party; takes responsibility for project construction, financing, and acceptance; and transfers the project to the investment party after acceptance.
4. BOT Model
Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) is a variant of the BT model. In this model, the Tonking Group takes responsibility for project construction, financing, and acceptance; operates the PV power plant for the contracted time period; and transfers the PV power station to the investment party after the contract expires.
5. EMC Model
In the energy management contract (EMC) model, Tonking Group signs a contract with a customer to renovate an existing PV power plant using its patented PV dual-axis linking tracking technology, and shares the revenue of increased electricity yield with the customer. By using this patented technology and cooperating with Huawei that provides the smart PV power plant solution, Tonking can provide renovation solutions to solve problems in traditional PV power plant tracking systems, such as less reliable, costly, and weak against wind.
6. Solarcity Model
The Solarcity business model is introduced from the United States, and covers PV power system installation, sales, lease, PPA, and energy efficiency improvement (energy conservation) services. In this model, Tonking Group cooperates with customers by leveraging its financing capability and channels with the support of national policies. The Solarcity model is a key link between PV manufacturers and customers.
7. Multiple Equity Cooperation Modes
Tonking Group is willing to cooperate with customers from the world through joint operation, equity participation, share holding, joint venture, and technology share holding to achieve win-win and create a better future.
